As speech-language pathologists (SLPs), helping young children to communicate to the best of their ability is rewarding, but it often comes as a challenge with staying up to date on the latest industry developments or best practice in test administrations.

That’s why we’ve created a comprehensive virtual workshop series to support SLPs in determining whether preschool children have the language skills necessary to make the transition to the classroom. From reviewing of current assessments trends to practical strategies in supporting the needs of these children and their families, we can help you build your experience and make data-driven decisions with confidence.

Tier 1 - Novice: CELF P-3 A&NZ Development, Administration and Scoring: An introductory webinar on how to measure expressive and receptive language skills in young children ages 3 – 6 using the new CELF P-3 A&NZ.

Tier 2 - Competent: Interpreting the CELF P-3 A&NZ results. Learn more about the new CELF P-3 A&NZ test structure, advance interpretation, and clinical application to avoid under-and over-identification of a language disorder.

Tier 3 - Proficient: The impact of language difficulty on early learning. Identify the differences between language difficulties, developmental language disorders (DLD) and language disorders associated with a known biomedical condition and understand the impact of DLD on early learning using the CELF P-3 A&NZ.

Tier 4 – Mastery: Administer, Interpret, Analyse and Plan using the CELF P-3 A&NZ. Gain a deeper understanding of students’ language difficulties, and learn how to support children in clinic and at home in preparation for school readiness.
