Module 10 continues your exploration of differential diagnosis through case studies. You will apply what you learned in Module 5, further developing your approach to differential diagnosis. This module also expands on differentiating ASD from other diagnoses.
Audience
This on-demand training is designed for medical professionals, psychologists, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, social workers, and other allied health professionals involved in the assessment, diagnosis, and support of clients with ASD and their families.
Course Description
This module continues your exploration of differential diagnosis through case studies. You will apply Module 5, further developing your approach to differential diagnosis. This module also expands on differentiating ASD from other diagnoses.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completing this module, participants will be able to:
- Expand and communicate their understanding of multiple diagnoses versus ASD
- Review multiple case studies focusing on attachment difficulties, anxiety, and trauma
- Address common challenges when conducting an ASD assessment and learn how to best overcome them
