Quick, Easy, Reliable

The WIAT-II Australian-Abbreviated can be administered in 10 to 20 minutes. A convenient combined Record Form/Response Booklet is used for all three subtests. The WIAT-II Australian Abbreviated offers Australian normative data for ages 4 years to 19 years 11 months based on age as well as school year, and US norms for clients between the ages of 20 and 85:11

Multiple Uses

The clinician can use the WIAT-II Australian-Abbreviated with preschool children through to adults to quickly identify skill deficits in spelling, reading and maths. Predictive of the full WIAT-II score, WIAT-II-A is also useful for screening, re-evaluation, and as a second measure to help in determining the need for and effectiveness of intervention. An ideal companion to any Wechsler scale, WIAT-II-A can be used with the Wechsler Abbreviated Scale of Intelligence™ (WASI™) for a brief, reliable cognitive and achievement battery.
