The questionnaire also includes a Minimisation/Denial scale for individuals who may be under-reporting traumatic events. Interpretive guidelines help identify a likely case of abuse at one of three levels of severity; mild, moderate and severe. The manual includes advice about clinical uses of the instrument &ndash; as an aid in treatment plans, in conducting child custody investigations and in assessing special populations.
