The living and ageing well series: Using measures of adaptive behaviour to assess adult independent living skills
Determining whether somebody is safe to live alone or determining what supports are required to enable independent living can be a daunting task. In some instances task-based assessments are not practical or possible. In these situations, assessing adaptive behaviour through standardised client or caregiver questionnaires can provide valuable insights. In this webinar we will look at using two such instruments: The Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales and the Adaptive Behavior Assessment System to guide your decision making around independent living.
