			The Test of Everyday Attention (TEA) gives a broad based measure of three important clinical and theoretical aspects of attention:

			<ul>
				<li>Selective attention</li>
				<li>Sustained attention</li>
				<li>Attentional switching</li>
			</ul>

			It can be used to identify different patterns of attentional breakdown and has been validated successfully with patients with closed head injury, stroke, and Alzheimer&#39;s disease, and including those with low educational level.

			<h3>Subtests</h3>

			The subtests use everyday skills to examine aspects of attention:

			<ul>
				<li>Map Search (selective attention)</li>
				<li>Elevator Counting and Elevator Counting With Distraction (sustained attention)</li>
				<li>Elevator Counting using Visual or Auditory Stimulus (attentional switching)</li>
				<li>Telephone Directory (divided attention)</li>
				<li>Lottery (sustained attention)</li>
			</ul>

			The test has three parallel versions and is sensitive enough to show normal age effects in the normal population.
