This live online, half-day training (10:00 am – 1:00 pm AEST) introduces you to the newly released Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale, Fifth Edition – Australian and New Zealand (WAIS-5 A&NZ) assessment. The training focuses on the core differences between the WAIS-IV A&NZ and WAIS-5 A&NZ, covering updated norms, new subtests, and indexes.

Course Description
This learning track introduces you to the newly released Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale | Fifth Edition: Australian and New Zealand Standardised Edition (WAIS-5 A&NZ) assessment. The training focuses on the core differences between the WAIS-IV A&NZ and WAIS-5 A&NZ, including updated norms, new subtests, and revised indexes.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this session, learners will be able to:
- Understand the structure of the fifth edition of the Wechsler® Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS-5)
- Explain the key differences between the WAIS-5 and its predecessor, WAIS-IV, focusing on:
- Updated norms
- New subtests
- New indexes
- The new five-factor structure
- Other revisions
- Engage in hands-on practice with administration and scoring, specifically focusing on the new features of the WAIS-5 A&NZ
