Developing language acquisition skills
Language skills, the most common developmental disorder, is comprised of the child’s ability to communicate but also understand social cues and gestures.
Our assessments can help a wide range of issues, including:
- Receptive language disorder: Receptive language delays occur when a chid has difficulty understanding the meaning of words and more complex language.
- Expressive language disorder: Expressive language delays occur when a child has difficulty expressing themselves using vocabulary and correct grammar.
- Speech production: Speech difficulties can effect a child's ability to articulate and create the appropriate speech sounds to make themselves understood by others.
