It is ideal for clinicians working with clients in paediatrics, rehabilitation, and disability settings, as well as those new to fine motor evaluation. Course DescriptionFine motor skills are essential to everyday function—from feeding and dressing to handwriting and tool use. This workshop introduces therapists to the core principles of fine motor assessment, offering practical guidance on observation, task analysis, and identifying barriers that limit participation. Focusing on the biomechanical aspects of fine motor performance, the session demonstrates how assessment findings can be applied throughout the OT process to inform functional, client-centred goals.
