Course Description
This one-hour, on-demand webinar hosted by Professor Barbara Dodd, delves into how speech sound disorders (SSD) often overlap with developmental language disorder (DLD) and affects approximately 4–16% of children between 3 and 6 years. SSD is marked by developmental errors in speech production caused by articulatory and/or phonological impairment and results in significantly reduced intelligibility.

- Understand how speech sound disorders (SSD) often overlap with developmental language disorders (DLD)
- Describe how SD is marked by developmental errors in speech production caused by articulatory and/or phonological impairment and results in significantly reduced intelligibility
